Nokia N95 vs. the Apple iPhone
A phone is a phone, but when it comes to the two best phones, which is the best? Fans of the Nokia N95 may be a little jealous when they see the latest Apple iPhone with its 8.9 cm (320x480 pixel) screen. Nokia's is a little smaller, but then it does have GPS that is missing in the iPhone. It also has a higher camera resolution - 5 megapixels as against the iPhone's 2.
On the other hand, Apple iPhone fans will point out that their touch screen has multi-touch sensors - something that the N95 missed out on - and 4GB/8GB of memory to the N95's smaller 160MB. The music player is of course iTunes, the browser Safari and the operating system Mac OS X. The email feature displays HTML rich; Push iMAP (Yahoo) and IMAP/Pop 3. Other cool features include visual voicemail, threaded SMS and browse music by album covers, along with a spell-checker and an accelerometer that changes the screen orientation when rotated. There is also a sensor that turns off the screen when you put it to your ear.
While the Nokia N95 has none of the above, it still comes out tops on certain other features, like being 16 g lighter, has a replaceable battery, an MMS for sending pictures and video, instant messaging (shock, horror none for iPhone!) and a few other nice features.
